Services
Within our capacity, we coordinate all necessary fund start-up functions, enabling asset managers to focus on their core business of investment management and marketing activities.

Swiss Financial Services acts as administrator to funds and custom portfolios, overseeing the day-to-day operations and acts as a liaison between investment managers, banks, brokers, custodians, auditors, tax advisors and regulatory authorities.

We provide a level of independence to investors through ongoing fund accounting and administrative support services, independent of the investment management process.
To meet your fund’s specialized needs, we eschew a “one size fits all” philosophy and tailor processes and reports to each client’s requirements.
Fund Setup
We help you make informed choices with regards to jurisdiction, structure and service providers.
Having been in the business since 1985, we have an extensive industry network. Swiss Financial Services performs fund accounting and fund administration services for diverse fund types domiciled in, but not limited to the Cayman Islands, Bahamas, United States, British Virgin Islands, Ireland and Singapore.
Investor Services
We will take the time to assist potential investors with the myriad questions they might have regarding subscription documentation and the details of wiring money to pay for these subscriptions.
On an on-going basis, we should be the first point of contact for any questions you as the investment manager or the investors might have about your investments and we will endeavor to answer your queries promptly and efficiently.
Equally, should you decide to redeem all or part of your holdings, we will ensure that you are kept fully informed and that your redemption proceeds are paid as quickly as possible within any constraints imposed by the individual fund concerned.
Fund Accounting
The Funds we administer include corporations, limited partnerships, fund of hedge funds, single and multi-advisor funds, master/feeder funds and single/multi class funds.
We at Swiss Financial Services also offer you accounting services for managed accounts, as well as valuation and consolidation services for client specific portfolios. Our clients include investment managers, hedge fund managers, private equity fund manager, commodity trading advisors, commodity pool operators, family wealth offices, investment advisors, banks, brokerage firms and other financial institutions of the alternative investment industry.
Our fund accountants take on the assignment of the Net Asset Value (“NAV”) calculation, financial reporting and day-to-day tasks for a client’s investment product and acquaint themselves with all the characteristics and particulars of such product.
Shadow Accounting
Although a third-party fund administrator is appointed to calculate a hedge fund’s official Net Asset Value (NAV), the investment manager is ultimately responsible for verifying the portfolio’s numbers and reporting accurate information to fund investors. Hedge fund managers have traditionally kept a separate set of books & records to verify the fund administrator’s calculations. As reporting has become more onerous and the role of an investment fund’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) expanded, investment managers began engaging third parties independent of the fund administrator to perform “shadow accounting” to enhance the accuracy and integrity of the NAV.
Other Services
In addition to our standard fund services, we also assist our clients with additional services. To find out more, contact us directly.
