Boutique Manager Event 2016
The continuing success of all these events was driven by the attending entrepreneurs and their shared passion for the alternative asset management industry. The underlying theme was built on owner managed boutiques working closely together to deliver superior investment performance and excellent client service. As in previous years our BME nurtured and encouraged engaged discussions, thought provoking ideas and an abundance of informal networking opportunities amongst asset manager and allocator business owners. The BME consisted of a breakfast Meet-the-Manager Session, luncheon, followed by an afternoon of targeted panel discussions, oxford-style debate, and closed with a performance of Carmen performed by the New York City Opera and closed with a cocktail party.
Attendance was by invitation only and limited to 173 people, representing 74 asset managers and 52 allocators. We personally invited senior decision makers of the alternative industry, including family offices, HNWI and fund selection teams, as well as asset managers. A big thank our sponsors and founding members for their early commitment to ensure the continuing success of the BME.
